Professional skills
- identification, data collection, documentation, evaluation and information recording, analysis, evaluation and specific interventions for reducing social risks at the individual, family, group, community and society level
- designing, implementation and evaluation of the social assistance projects, programs and policies for different and vulnerable social categories
- development of the prevention services and activities as well as of the support ones for people benefiting from the social assistance services
- consultancy in accessing the community resources for the people and social groups excluded or at the risk of social exclusion (institutions, services, labour conscription)
- counselling and other methods of specialized interventions provided in the family and institutional environments (hospitals, schools, penitentiaries, antidrug centres, social assistance institutions, etc.) by complying with the values and principles specific to the social assistance
- professional communication and relationship with the people and social actors involved in this domain.
Transversal skills
- objective and theoretically and practically argued approach of some problem-situations in order to find efficient solutions by complying with the values and principles specific to social assistance
- efficient application of the working techniques in a transdisciplinary team at the inter and intraorganisational level
